Pros: Quick, quiet and easy to use. Great results, excellent software. Very versatile.

Cons: Size, takes up a big footprint compared to my old film scanner. Glass collects dust.

Pros: Good image quality. Lots of included software. Lots of advanced options. Relatively fast.

Cons: Included software for Mac out of date. CCD not quite 48-bit, but close.

The Bottom Line: Great flatbed and film scanner for the price. Lots of software included, even though Mac versions are slightly outdated. Relatively fast scanning.
