If you are like me, then you may have secretly placed the PDA/Cell Phone on your wishlist this year. After all, it is a technological wonder. The Palm Treo 680 Smartphone comes equipped with so many little gadgets that will awe you. I know I have been awed ever since I have come in contact with it. In one of my drop-by visits at the local Cingular store, I started reading about the PDA/cell phone. Way before it was released, the cardboard display got me hoooked on the phone. When it was made available for sale on October 2006, I went directly to the store to try to get it. Unlucky I was, I did not find. The store had a very limited amount of the Treo. In my subsequent visits, I did find what I was looking for all along. The Treo is now part of my techological gadgets. For $199.99 and other fees, you can also become a Palm Treo Smartphone owner. That is the lowest price you can pay for them at your Cingular Wireless store.
What makes the Treo different from any others on the market? Let's say, Windows Mobile or even earlier versions of PDAs?
If it is time for you to consider a new cell phone, then you should think about the Treo. The Palm Treo 680 is different in that it comes equipped with a wide range of multimedia functions such as built-in music player (MP3 player), Voice Recorder with voice recorder capability, built-in digital camera, audio output, digital photography features, cell phone features with MMS, SMS, QWerty etc. You will not be too far away from the obsessive features of e-mail, messaging, texting, web access, contacts, calendar and songs. With a 312 MHZ processor and 64 MB installed memory, you have a system that you can be proud of while hitting the road. You can communicate for quite a while considering all the features you can be using with this pretty little thing in your hands. The Palm Treo has a 4-hour battery life. It has Li-Ion rechargeable batteries.
Who is most likely to use this SmartPhone?
Well, anybody who can afford it should try it. Why not have the best or all these features in one device? The Palm Treo 680 SmartPhone would be very helpful if you are on the road all the time. If you are a traveling professional, a traveling nurse, doctor, architect, journalist, photographer, surfer, climber, government official, diplomat, parent, NFL or NBA coach or a student studying overseas or in another state, The Palm 680 SmartPhone would do wonders. You would be in touch with your office, loved ones in a matter of seconds. The contact would be linear.
How Have I Used the Palm 680?
I have used it mostly to access videos, update an excell spreadsheet, take pictures of things that interest me, play songs on the MP3 mode, see PDF files and surf the Web for good deals while away from civilization. I also use Microsoft Word, excell and powerpoint a lot too.
It is a minicomputer and much more right in the palm of your hands.
