Pros: Great city simulation.
Cons: Military could use improvement

First I should say that Caesar 3 is better than the 2nd version of the game, but there are still some aspects of the game that need polishing. For those of you never played "Caesar series" game, here is a short description of Caesar 3; you are in charge of the city, and a province. You build up your city, attract settlers, make them happy, collect taxes from them, and then you expand your city, and province. Time to time you have to fight off the invaders. Most of the time is spend on building a strong economy, or in other words "keeping the cash flowing in" . Here are some things that I liked about the "3rd Caesar" :

1) Excellent city building simulation, lot's of available buildings, complicated building net. One building interacts with another. City life is very well done, you can see all these people walking up and down the streets, carrying different things.
2) Game is very well enhanced with random events, like god's blessings, enemy invasions etc.
3) Religion concept is transferred to the game, you have to honor five different gods in order to get what you want.
4) Trading is very interesting, you can see camels, caravans, and ships entering your ports and cities, going to your warehouses etc.
5) Overall the whole city simulation aspect is done superbly, it's really a lot of fun.

Things that I did not like as much;

1) Military edge is not very sharp. They could have added more units and more formations.

Conclusion: "Caesar 3" is an excellent city and empire building simulation staged in ancient Roman era. Graphics is very nice, and eye pleasing, music is pretty cool. The game gives you an impression of the actual roman city. Military aspect is better than in "Caesar 2", but could be improved. Overall the game is very well done, and I enjoyed it a lot.
