The bottom line: If you like the earlier tony hawk games, this is one that you will never forget. It has great gameplay and excellent detail.
Tony Hawk's pro skater 4 is a great game for the xbox. Also, for other systems but I have only played it for xbox. The graphics are excellent and the gameplay is awesome. In earlier Tony Hawk games they would have career goals that you would complete with one character. After that you would have to do it again with someone else. The repitition was terrible and it got old fast. In this game it is very different. You can play the whole game with one character and there is no repitition. Also, When you complete a certain number of goals you unlock the pro challenges. These are different depending on the character. For instance, Bam's pro challenge is a race, hurdle and slalom with his famous jackass shopping cart. The game is massivly detailed and there are no time limits until choosing a goal. There are also little minor details such as the graphic on the bottom of the deck, as you grind it gets scratched.
