INTRO

The game starts off with the plot that a man named Drake and his evil orginization called the Phoenix are assembling pieces for a weapon that could put him in a position of mass globilization. You, as Bond, James Bond, have to stop him on a variety of missions, whether it's sneaking into parties, driving super cars, rescueing servants in a Japanese estate, or shooting tranquilizer darts at guards, this game is a must buy for everyone.

GRAPHICS

The graphics in this game are beautiful. The weapons are fantastic, the settings are glorious, and the character details are fabulous.

The weapons are all pretty unique and you can tell if they're an explosive, machine gun, pistol, etc. The point is, they're all nicely done. You can identify them because of their detailed differences. For example, the sentinal (a guided rocket launcher) is a large bulky weapon or the Raptor (a rather powerful pistol) is a pistol of signifacent size.

The settings are probably the best part of the graphics. You will see very specific details. Little thin pieces of grass are see-able, the details in objects like lamps, tables, floors, walls, and pictures are excellent. There are no see-able blocks of graphics and everything seems crystal clear. These great setting graphics give an experience of realism when playing this game.

Character details are also quite efficiently made. The wrinkles are well placed, the pigments and details of eyes are great, the mouth movements are realisitic, and the body shapes are fantastic. Though there is some weakness in the characters, the movements. They don't usually don't relate to their surroundings, and don't "connect" with them. For example, when some people die and fall towards the wall, instead of their body lying against it, the head or shoulders go through and in it. It looks so strange and I kind of don't like the idea of making the bodies disappear because when they still remain, it seems 1) so much more realistic and 2) it seems like you did alot more than you think. Though overall the graphics are quite clean and clear. (Graphics: 4/5 points)

GAMEPLAY

The gameplay is great. The missions are fun, multiplayer's great, and they cleared basically all the flaws that previous FPS's gameplay had.

First, to the missions. THEY'RE GREAT! There is such a variety types of missions. You drive cars, snow mobiles, fight assassins, etc. Plus, there is such a variety of weapons that you use, the amount of weapons in this game are beyond count! Whether you use pistols, rocket launchers, automatics, etc. It's all there!! So every mission, is almost completely different because of the new weapons! Also, the AI of the enemies are outstanding. They actually yell for help, shoot with accuracy, and do moves to dodge bullets. Also, they kind of move according to their weapon. For example, someone with a machine gun will kind circle around you while you shoot as opposed to with a pistol, he'll just run right and left. There's one major con though. There are no savepoints or anything so either you have to finish the whole mission at one time or when you die, you get set back a considerable amount Though that's the only major con in the missions. But the really cool thing is that the more missions you beat, the more features you get for multiplayer like grapple gadgets, types of multiplayer games like Top Agent, etc. (Missions: 5.1/6 points)

CONTROLS

The controls are bery good. There are about five to ten control sets to fit your exact needs. You can either choose controls from other Bond games like golden eye or just go for the single of double thumbstick. There are many button modifications in diferent controls but I just usually go for the nightfire controls. The controls are excellent overall. (Controls: 3.8/4 points)

MULTIPLAYER

The multiplayer is great!! There are many weapon sets or you could just go for random which just takes random weapons from any set and puts them into one set. Plus, there are AI bots (as in computer players playing too). With these bots, you can make it so they're no challenge at all or a really difficult task to defeat. You can up to six bots on game. I would like a little bit more but it's satisfactory. The only noticed con I could think of is that any good characters cannot play against eachother in a free for all but bad guys can. So more than one person could not choose two good agents in case there is a certain character you like to be. Though overall, the multiplayer is great. (Multiplayer: 4/5 points)

DIFFICULTY

The game is not so hard if you set it to that or you could play missions on the hardest levels. The harder the level, the smarter the enemies, the more objectives you must accomplish, etc. Though it does get a little tedious when you don't have time to finish a mission and you have to restart the whole thing or when you die, you get put way back in the mission. Though you can modify it so it's pretty easy, or if you want to try the mission again in a harder difficulty, you can. The difficulty overall is pretty good. (Difficulty: 2.5/3 points, Overall gameplay: 15.4/18 points)

AUDIO

The audio is quite impressive. The music is fun to hear. It fits the surroundings too. For example, when you're trying to sneak around a building, you hear calm music but when you're cought, the music goes booming. In mutliplayer, it also is good. There's a "song" for each level and it fits.

The sound effects are pretty nice as well. You hear realistic, loud gun shots, but when you silence it, you hear little squeaks. You hear yells of pain when you shoot someone or defeat someone. It's overall realistic. (Audio: 3.3/4 points)

OVERALL

This a good game basically in all aspects. The audio's fun to hear, the missions are exhilirating, the multiplayer's great, and the graphics are fit fro everyone. Buy this game as soon as possible!
