The bottom line: Nightfire does a great job of staying true to the nature of the James Bond world. If you like watching James Bond movies, then you'll love playing this game.
In 007 Nightfire for the X-Box, James Bond is his usual smooth self. He says all the right lines to all the sexy women with a corny style that seems fashioned off of the latest movie. My favorite line of this nature had to be when he said, "If I get out of this alive, I'll need one large sake, and one hell of a massage." I'm surprised that this game wasn't rate "M" due to the numerous sexually offensive lines throughout the movie, er, game.

The action was intense. There are three game settings, and the "00-Agent" level is quite difficult. The graphics were some of the best that I've ever seen in a game. The controls options were superb, since you had many different ways that you could set-up the controller configuration. The music was very impressive, and it helped to give the game that movie-like feel. Even after the intro, which was designed to feel like the action sequence at the beginning of a James Bond movie, the game leads right into an incredible movie sequence with dancing figures of females and some incredibly suitable theme music.

Throughout the game James Bond, not only, defeats a number of original characters, who are each very cool in their own ways, but he also gets his woman...Actually, I think he was with 3 or 4 different women throughout the course of the movie. Once again, how appropriate is this?

Multiplayer mode is incredible. You can unlock characters and weapons to use by beating the single player portions of the game. What is really cool, is the fact that you can unlock old-school characters, such as: Jaws and a bunch of the Bond girls of the past (the cheat-code to unlock one of these girls is "circus"), and the Christopher Walken character from A VIEW TO A KILL, and even others. The multiplayer levels are massive (at least I think they are), and they are very well detailed.

In the end, I give this game 5 stars, since it does a great job of staying true to the nature of the James Bond world. If you like watching James Bond movies, then you'll love playing this game, and I suggest you go buy it right now...The sooner the better. I was surprised that this game was better than the old N64 Goldeneye game; even Nightfire's multiplayer options are cooler.

Also, the game has some pretty cool cheat-codes built into it, so if you're having a problem beating the game then I suggest looking on the internet for some of the codes.
