Dead or Alive 4 definitely didn't let me down. The graphics were beautiful, the characters were well defined, and the story was coherent. All in all, it is an excellent addition to the series.

I bought this game because I am a huge devotee of the Dead or Alive series. In fact, I was quite disappointed that it wasn't available on release day for the 360! However, it was well worth the wait in the end.

There is a lot to love in this game. They added two characters (Elliot and Kokoro), and they actually have deep story lines instead of just being filler characters. The game play is just about the right level of difficulty (though Alpha 152 seems like a crap shoot 99% of the time). Perhaps the best feature of the game is the online play system. It is easy to find a game that matches the criteria you are looking for; you don't need to keep entering and exiting games until you find a good one.

Overall, this game is a MUST HAVE for any fighting game fan, and a no-brainer for any DOA fan. It's a real, solid game, not one that was just put out to have something available at launch.
