Believe it or not, I actually got a sore thumb from playing this game. I'll get to that later, though. You play this game as a small dragon that has to free the adult dragons. You also have to collect jewels scattered throughout each world. Freeing the dragons gives you a save point in case you screw up, but if you get a "game over," you have to do the level over. (You keep all the jewels and stuff. You just have to start from the beginning.)

It can be infuriating because in order to get to new worlds, you have to get a certain number of dragons, jewels, or dragon eggs. That's where I got the sore thumb. Dragon eggs (as well as a few keys) are obtained by chasing around these infuriating little "guy" that is just slightly less maneuverable than Spyro at peak maneuverability. I'd have to chase them around for fifteen or twenty minutes to get the job done.

Mostly, the game is a matter of finding and completing the levels, but you are occasionally required to work a little. I won't give anything away, but if you can handle Zork, you can handle this. Like Zork. some things are easy and some things will take you a while.

This is a good game for all ages. I'll have a sore thumb for a long time.
