Pros: Very dark and detailed graphics, excellent sound tracks, and RPG-like game play.
Cons: Maria isn't playable, I guess.
The Bottom Line: One of the best Playstation games ever comes complete with RPG elements, 100 different enemies, and lots of blood!

Pros: Great gameplay, great music, and great replay value.
Cons: Some will be turned off by the 2D graphics (you shallow fools).
The Bottom Line: One of the best action/adventure/RPGs on the Playstation, if not the best.

Pros: Everything: graphics, music, gameplay, atmosphere, and everything else
Cons: The voice acting isn't very good
The Bottom Line: Everything about this game is of the highest quality: atmosphere, music, graphics, locations, gameplay,… This is platform-horror-roleplaying-Castlevania at its best.

Pros: Ingenius old school gameplay, beautiful graphics, incredible music, an lengthy quest

Pros: nice story, excellent soundtrack, inverted castle

The Bottom Line: Castlevania Symphony of the Night is a superb 2D game that every Playstation owner should play.

Pros: Neat 2D graphics, awesome music, lots of atmosphere, interesting gameplay mechanics
Cons: Cheesy voice acting (of course!), there may never be another game quite like it.
The Bottom Line: Buy this game immediately, because it could very well be the last really good game of its kind.
