Pros: Decent Graphics and new players

The bottom line: Don't get it. Get Madden 99 for your PC its much cheaper and equal in quality.
This Super Bowl Sunday I was over at my friends house from Sunday night to Monday morning. He rented Madden 2000 for his Playstation so we could play all night, and to say the least I was a little disapointed. I expected the graphics to be really good and the hits to be cool but instead they looked exactly like my Madden 99 for PC.
I got Madden for my when it first came out for $35. That's a lot of money but it was worth it. The graphics were great and it was a lot of fun to play. Even though since then EA Sports has come out with 2 more Madden games I stick with mine because this way I don't have to waste my money and I still have a heck of a game. Playing Madden 2000 was just like playing Madden 99 with only two relevant differences. 1) Madden 2000 had updated players like Cullpepper. 2) Madden 99 for PC now costs $15 at a computer store and Madden 2000 for PS costs about $40.
