This fighting game, which is in 2d cell graphics look awesome on the PSP ! however really provides little else that a good game should. Keep in mind this game is also a japanese import, so be forwarned you may need to guess some instructions, but most important things are in english.

I can play for hours with it mostly because it takes very little to entertain me. However for a hardcore gamer it may be lacking severely. However for parents of younger children looking into the game, it is pretty good, though it is a fighting game, there are no blood or guts.

It has 2 player, supposed to be able to connect to others to play thru wifi, but i haven't tried that out.
SADly, there are only 6 playable characters, that is too little. 5 main, and 1 unlockable. It is also fairly easy to beat... and i'm a button masher so that isn't saying much for the game itself.

As you beat opponents in story(just fighting different characters thru a storyline, lame since i can't read japanese), versus, survival, you gain points in which you can buy cards(just cards with pictures on them) and when you accrue cards you can unlock different things. Things such as movies(lame again cus i cannot understand japanese) LOL , and also a mini game similar to breakout, little blocks and balls. it is actually pretty fun, because if you beat a level they give you more pictures of the anime to look at. I found this game really kept me busy on train rides.

That pretty much sums up what is availible in the game.
because of the language barrier, it is important to note that on american psp's, the X button is enter. however on this game, the O button is enter... i had to figure that out repeatedly after i kept exiting the screen when i didn't want to.

I paid about 60-70 for the game, being that it was an import, you can get it online. I live in New york and got it in chinatown. I was prepared for the game to be lacking in playability, but it is actually one of the games that I kept ( i already traded in lumines and tony hawk). Even though I don't watch the anime, i just liked the graphics a lot, and well I love fighting games. The break out game was really fun too, so I was pretty satisfied. It's very easy game to beat(which is probably why I do like it), so if you don't like that, don't say I didn't warn you.
