Pros: Very fun minigames, cool boards, new characters, and a bunch of fun with your friends.
Cons: Annoying announcer, same gameplay as old Mario Parties, Same sound effects.
The bottom line: All in all this is a really great game, I just wish that it had wi-fi compatability. I mean, what the hell Nintendo, I want online games on the Wii!!

Here comes Mario and all his pals for another grand adventure...or maybe not so grand.
The basics of this game are simple, you hit a dice block, move however many spaces indicated by the dice block, and hope to god you can get the star before the computer. No, seriously, that's all you have to do. And once again Nintendo does not let you play as Donkey Kong. That's right, they still have the gay DK spaces on the boards. At least in Mario Party 7 you'd get to play a game on the DK space. You still have your basic characters along with two new ones, Blooper and Hammer Bro.
For everyone wondering about the minigames and how fun they are, I'll answer your question now, EVERY MINIGAME IS VERY, VERY FUN! I mean how can you beat shaking your wiimote like mad to make your soda burst and go high, or love shooting other players on a moped type vehicle. My two personal favorites are Spector Inspector, because it feels like Luigi's Mansion in first person. And I like Canyon Cruiser, I mean who wouldn't love going through a canyon on a hovercraft with your mii at 150 mph.
Some of the annoying things in this game that could have easily been changed are, the annoying announcer who says words like NENOS and SNO NOS. They also could have included more motion in the gameplay itself.
