San Francisco Rush by Midway makes gamers live by one simple motto: speed kills. In this smooth racing title, players will get the chance to try seven long tracks. Gamers will be amazed at the highly detailed, colorful graphics, and numerous route branches on all the tracks. Players can choose for four different views to get the best angle on all the racing action. Everything is slightly blurred to give racers a real sensation of speed. With speeds this fast, control is a big issue. There is no insane power sliding around corners. Instead, gamers must judge racing lines well in advance to avoid slamming into guard rails and turning into a burning hulk of steel. Also, racers need to keep their eyes open to spot the numerous shortcuts that can really shorten lap times. These shortcuts take the form of underground sewer systems, through buildings, up ramps, and more. For a real rush, racers should try taking some ramps and see how much air they can get. While players have no control once airborne, the view is well worth the trip! San Francisco Rush is perfect for those gamers who are tired of gridlock traffic and just want to escape
