Pros: Awesome tracks and cars, great fun
Cons: World Driver and Beetle Adventure Racing still look better

Don't listen to the Freshman, RR64 is Nintendo's finest racer! Sure the graphics aren't as good as the "Fun Machine's" best, and the classic Ridge Racer announcer is still annoying, AND the default controls are weird - RR64 is still awesome! First of all, somebody (the Freshman) was to lazy to drop by the options menu - turn the controls to Revolution or RR64 and the game will handle DRASTICALLY better! The speedy frame - rate more than makes up for the so-so graphics (actually, they're pretty good from first time developers Nintendo Software Technology Corporation of America, made up mostly of Digipen grads!). Finally, multi-player : the only area that suffers...at least just in 4-player mode. It's horribly choppy and limited to just the basic modes - no Beetle Battle mode here! Still, RR64 is still a fine racer. Go buy it now, highly recommended!
