Pros: Easy to learn, fun to play

EA Sports is renowned for putting out the best sports games available on market, and NHL 99 certainly doesn't fall short of EA's standards. It's my newest addition to my N64 games, and it's a lot of fun to play. The graphics on it are very easy to learn, so you can basically just pick up the controller and play. There are three difficulty levels, and all the standard options for hockey games, including Exhibition, Season, Playoffs, Shoot out, etc., including a Beginner play option so new players can learn the ways of the hockey game. The graphics are very well done, and the animation is quite exceptional too. The only drawback to this game is that, sometimes during a game, a player will get "stuck" in a tiny glitch in the game...Otherwise this game is exceptional and is very true to the EA Sport's tradition of excellence.
