NHL'99 is on of the best games I have ever played. I love playing hockey and when I play this game I feel like I am actually playing the game.
There are three levels of play; beginner, pro, all-star. Beginner is the easiest and anyone can play it. All-star is the hardest and gives me a little challenge. Pro is in the middle. I think pro will give a beginner somewhat of a challenge.
There is all the real NHL teams and every country team that played in the Olympic games to choose from. There are also two all-star teams: North American All-Stars, and World All-Stars. I prefer North American All-stars to the World All-Stars.
During the game you can check people into the wall and you can also body check people. When you check a person you usually get the puck. I recommend this game over any other hockey game out there.
