If you're a golf enthusiast who is shopping for a game and enjoys fun gameplay, Mario Golf should be #1 on your list. Golf, like video games, is something I'm addicted to, but i can't stand boring golf sims, so when Mario Golf came out, I spent countless hours in front fo my tv, captivated and enjoying every minute of it. First of all, Golf isn't a very exciting sport, so making it fun is extremely difficult, however the arcade-style gameplay and constant exciting competition give this game incredible replay value. Although when the game begins there are only three golfers and one course available, by winning tournaments and defeating golfers in match play, you can open up as many as fourteen golfers and more courses than you can shake a stick at. Multiplayer (the best part of this game)is loaded with features right from the beginning. Even if you aren't experienced enough to unlock golfers and courses, you can play nine or eighteen holes with your friends with any of ten golfers, playing either stroke, mini putt, or heated competition on each hole in skins or match play. The game takes nature into effect as well. Wind can blow shots off course, rain can slow down greens and fairways and shots can deflect off trees and giant turtle shells. Even if I haven't convinced you that Mario Golf isn't a great game, try it and i guarantee you won't regret it.
