Pros: Great Game, Good Graphics, Good Sound
Cons: Overshadowed by Other Games

This masterpiece, which is along the lines of the Mario series, shows Rare's potential for great games. This game will leave you hooked for hours, and only a true master can complete the final task.
This game is more than just a simple premise of collecting jigsaw pieces and trying to save Banjo's sister, Tooty. It is an immersing, thrilling, challenging, and fun adventure. This game is so good that I wonder why it did not get the hype that Mario 64 got.
The sound is superb, the graphics even better, and the story is turned from a typical adventure to a unique game. This is a defining N64 multi-member team game, and you are the third member. While not quite as appealing to everybody as it is to me, it is a good investment.
If you want to take a new turn in the adventure genre, then get this. If you like adventure games, then get this. If you really think that this will never compare with Mario 64, rent it and give it a try. However, now that Rare has DK64 out on the market, you might want to try that first.
