Game Boy Color Rayman is a near translation of the original Atari Jaguar Rayman for the portable gaming system. With this game you are there to save your friends trapped in the worlds you visit. The game was rated favorably with most of the gaming press and I thought it was worth buying due to my experience with Rayman 2 for the N64, but I discovered it to be rather difficult and dry. I would of had more fun playing Donkey Kong Country for the Game Boy Color. I quickly shelved the game in favor of Dragon Warrior I and II, which has captivated my attention more.
Overall the graphics are good, the music is very subpar for the Game Boy Color. It is also noted that Rayman is announced to be on Nintendo's newest portable gaming system the Game Boy Advance with better graphics like the original. So if you liked Rayman 2 or similar games of it's kind then get that version when it comes out.
