Pokemon Blue, is one of now three released Gameboy games from Nintendo. In the game, players are placed into the game by putting their name in and acting as a Pokemon (beginner) trainer. Players then receive their first Pokemon, and set out for their adventure.
The object in the game is to...well...eventually catch 'em all. Players travel from town to town battling other trainers and earning money/experience with their Pokemon. With every point of experience earned the stronger the Pokemon grows. If enough growth is made the pokemon may evolve to a stronger form. While travelling trainers may go into the wild and capture wild Pokemon to train and use. Another way to capture Pokemon is by buying a Gameboy game link ($10.00) and connecting with another player to trade with or even battle.
My only problem with this game is that it's fun. In fact it's a bit to fun. I found myself playing all times in the day whenever I could. It is addicting, but with a bit of self control and will power, you'll have no problem.
The games is fun and entertaining for all ages (although some older folks like me don't like to admit it) and is fairly affordable.
