Pros: Many more pokemon, New powerups, better item system and better items
Cons: Too much of a need for HMs
The Bottom Line: Best pokemon game yet. Great graphics. New pokemon new system of doing things, real time playing, and a surprise once you finish the first elite four.

Pros: The new pokemon add to the excitement of Pokemon Silver!
Cons: You cannot battle your friends who have pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow.
The Bottom Line: Pokemon Silver is a must buy. I reccomend it for all RPG and Pokemon fans. It is the sole reason to buy a Game Boy Color!

Pros: It has 16 badges, 251 pokemon, day and night making the game interesting!
Cons: Having to walk around for an hour waiting to breed pokemon
The Bottom Line: When it comes to the pokemon games , this is the best one to get and it's definitely worth 30$
