Pros: Funner and More Challenging than Red or Blue
Cons: Just might need a cheater book
The bottom line: It's a fun game that can captivate your childs imagination with its characters and also spruces up their reading, concentration and patience levels.

My 7 year old daughter received this version from "Santa" this year and cannot put it down. She has the red and yellow version and according to her "this is the best one they made". The new characters are a real hit, since she knows the originals by heart (moves, weaknesses, etc. Now that she is in grade 2 where the reading gets harder, this game is really improving her reading skills as you must read the captions at all times in order to progress throughout the game. Her "homework" at school is to read every night and this is definitely not a substitute for a book but it has greatly improved her reading skills. The game is fun (I had a go at it) and involved. The only downfall is trying to figure out how to get to certain places or getting different passwords unless you buy one of those cheater books. But to my daughters credit, she has gotten 7 of the 8 badges by figuring it out on her own (with a little tears at times). As a parent, any game which helps in reading and sorting things out is OK in my book-better than watching the boob tube all day.
