When I first saw this game I said to myself "this looks really stupid". Another example of the phrase "don't judge a book by it's cover". This game is really great. I like to think of it as Goldeneye except you are a toy plane or car and there is no blood.
You are in a house; in each area (hallway, childrens rooms, dining room) there is a toy boss and if you beat him in a head to head battle, he becomes your ally. There are various missions where you have a certain goal like to blow up the bridge or to rescue a doll. When you form your "army" of toys you are ready to take on the Toy Commander in the final showdown. The game is also multi player so you can play with your friends. As always the graphics are spectacular and the controls are easy to learn.
I had only played this game briefly and because I enjoyed it so much I recently ordered it from Amazon.com. The game is not only for kids because many missions are very challenging. Bottom line: if you have Sega Dreamcast I suggest trying Toy Commander because it is a really good game.
