Pros: So much to do too little time on the earth to do it all.

This game is not a rip off of Sony's GT games. (As i had read in a certain INCITE gaming mag.) It has a huge amount of things to do and should keep you playing for many months...

THE GAME:
In Sega GT you race track after track trying to get the most points at the end of the season. There are sponsor races, Drag races, and time attacks. Where this game really stands out though is the ability to design your car from scratch, And its not hard either. You are given several selections regarding engine size, the type of engine etc. and provided you have the cash, your car will be manufactured.

THE GRAPHICS:
The graphics are very good. Its not the best though as you will see some aliasing problems with the track. (keep in mind that this game was released awhile ago in japan.) There are really no moments of slowdown and the game runs at a decent 30 fps.

THE MUSIC:
Music is good enough. However its not very memorable, don't expect to remember anything of this soundtrack in a few days.

THE CONTROL:
The joypad is really not good for this game. I used the Rally Wheel and the game played great. Easy to judge turns and the gas is right where your finger lies on the wheel. However with the joypad I found it hard to maintain a constant rate of turning. Either it was too steep or too shallow.

Sound FX:
Sound FX are incredible. Cars slamming each other, light scraping of the frame on a turn are all clear and distinguished.

REPLAY:
If your the type of person who does not consider a game "beat" until all can be done with it,(Like me) then you will be sitting there for A LONG TIME. With so many tracks and a near infinite amount of cars to build, this game may very well take a year to fully beat. Otherwise you'll just stop and might only play it once a month.

FINAL:
This game shows that anything sony can do Sega can do too if not better.
You really should get this game. It is well worth the money.
