You look at all the football games out these days, and you know the deal for most of them. They all have the same gameplay, and although you may enjoy them, you're looking for something just a little different. Look no further, because NFL Blitz 2000 is the game for you.

Going away from normal football games, NFL Blitz is a hard-hitting, action packed game. There are no referees or rules, which makes late hitting, everyone's favorite, perfectly allowed and tolerated. The field is smaller, requiring you to get 30 yards for a first down. Also, there are only 8 players per team on the field at a time, so things aren't really cluttered. However, it is extremely hard to avoid tackles.

This game has sharp graphics, great sounds, and as high fun factor, making you desire to beat each and every team. However, the computer is extremely good, making you pay for every single mistake you make. Luckily, there are easy, medium, and hard modes. Another good thing is that the teams strengths and weaknesses don't overwhelm them. Most of the teams are very equally matched (with the exception of the really bad teams).

Most other football games are relatively good, especially the NFL 2k and Madden 2000 games. However, everybody needs something different once in a while, and NFL Blitz 2000 brings it to those people in a big way.
