Pros: Its Bomberman! Fast-paced, almost perfect controls. A multi-player blastfest! Very nice visuals.
Cons: Single player is fun, however the bosses are far too difficult to beat.
The bottom line: All-in-all, Bomberman is the BOMB! If you have a DC, and do not own this game, get it! Recommended for anyone!
I have played Bomberman on the classic system, TurboGrafx-16, and enjoyed it immensely. When I saw Bomberman released on the Dreamcast, I just had to get it. So, I waited until it was brought down to $10 and bought it! It was worth every penny, and more!

Bomberman has a basic storyline. Run around a maze blowing objects up, gathering power-ups and obliterating your opponents. There are two modes in Bomberman. The single player and the multiplayer.

The single player consists of one lil Bomberman striving to fight against all the enemies on this one island world. Each stage has 3 substages and a boss level. The game is fun and challenging with each substage progressively getting more difficult. Then comes the boss stage. This is next to impossible. I have yet to beat any of the bosses, although I finished all of the substages. It is quite frustrating. You can collect little items in each stage, although I have no idea what good they are for. Most are representations of creatures (such as a dog, cat, etc).

The multiplayer is where the game definitely shines. Blowing three of your friends up in a melee is a total blast. This has been the hit of many a party and sleepover here. The controls are accurate and responsive, while the game shows almost no slowdown.
