Pros: Great sense of speed. Loads of cars. Drifting!

Cons: Controls lack. Sloppy collision detection. Old graphics and bad music/sound.

The Bottom Line: Ridge Racer DS is quite good for a port but does not stack up very well compared to newer DS racers.

Pros: Decent framerate and solid gameplay.

Cons: Nothing terribly different from the N64 build, useless touchscreen controls.

The Bottom Line: Given a choice between a DS or a PSP Ridge Racer title, go for the PSP version. Ridge Racer DS is nothing more than a port with touchscreen support.
