Cons: A bit pricey for computer speakers, technical problems having sound not play

I got it as a gift from my parents, it didn't feel right spending $400 on computer speakers. They're great for movies but I don't watch movies on my computer much. Music sounds pretty good too, though vocals on a CD my band made sound washed out where they sound fine on my non-Bose stereos. They sounded pretty amazing at the store, and they look very cool, even on my messy desk, actually they look so nice they're out of place.

I'm going to take them back this week b/c I'm having problems with audio cutting out. Also I could think of better ways to spread out 400 bucks. I have a powermac G5 and occasionally when I play something after waking it up no sound comes through, sometimes I put it back in and out of sleep and once or twice I had to restart. Kind of a pain, though doesn't look like this is a typical problem.
