Pros: Practicing controller ninjitsu. S'pose the inventive motion-sensing and (eventual) vast VC library is cool also.
Cons: Bad graphics. (Mostly) bad games. Overpriced "cheapo" games. Overpriced VC games. No online games (yet).
The Bottom Line: Without the goods, Wii right now is not so good. I know you want your system cheap, but don't you also want your games refined while they're at it?

Pros: Price, size, interactivity
Cons: Few truly good games.
The Bottom Line: If you liked the GameCube you will love the Wii. If not, then it is an average console.

Pros: Cheap buy in, pseudo PC features, neat interface that will give you carpel-tunnel.
Cons: Weak performance, limited titles, remote burns batteries like mad.
The Bottom Line: If you got kids in the house and you want to keep them quite and build up the strength in their wrists. The Wii is your salvation.

Pros: Good exercise, some games are great.
Cons: inconsistency in the wands actions to movement results in disapointing game play.
The Bottom Line: It isn't the greatest, but it can be fun. If you have other game systems, adding the Wii isn't a bad idea.

Pros: Totally unique game interraction/controls. Nothing like it.
Cons: Production hasn't met demand, VERY limited game selection 2 years after its introduction. Poor graphics.
The Bottom Line: This is a very family friendly system that gets you physically connected with the games you choose (VERY limited selection still). Internet browsing.

Pros: Fun new way to play video games...
Cons: But gets old quickly. Requires lots of space for full controller movement.
The Bottom Line: If you have a XBOX 360 or PS3 the Wii is a fun companion system. It's not a substitute for these systems though. The motion controller gimmick wears thin.

Pros: Good indoor fun, several different Sports games can be a good workout
Cons: Expensive, especially if you want to add controllers; limited workout potential and lame graphics
The Bottom Line: I've enjoyed the Sports games (except boxing) and got some good workouts, but I'm not sure the Wii has lived up to all the hype, especially with its high price.
