Pros: Great print quality, especially color.
Cons: Honestly I can't think of one. Prints great. Not an ink hog.
The bottom line: Best ink jet I have ever used.
I bought the thing because I was looking for a good quality ink jet that did photos.

The cost for replacement ink is aprox $73.00 for all five cartridges at Sam's club. Cheaper if you get it online. Have had the thing for just under a year, do not do a lot of printing, just average, and am just now going to replace the black ink. Still have plenty in the color.

As far as color print quality, really good. No shading or bleeding. Cannot be happier.

And, I hate it when you print something and the ink is so heavy it curls the paper. Not with this printer. Can print color on regular print paper, and paper does not curl or feel "wet".

And the thing is heavy. Is that a mark of quality? To me it is. I work on printers and PC's in my job as a field engineer. Weight means less shock to the systems when the print head bangs back and forth. I am guessing the printer weighs about twenty pounds.

And it comes with fantastic scanning software. Matter of fact, the CD that comes with this printer that has printer drivers, add ons, and scanner s/w is the best I have seen for a home printer.
